Community Infrastructure Levy - Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule

District

The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) came into force in April 2010 and is a levy that local authorities can choose to charge on new developments within their area. The money raised from CIL can then be used to help fund new infrastructure such as roads, healthcare, libraries, green spaces and schools.

It is intended to complement other existing sources of funding. The purpose of this consultation is to gather views on the CIL 'preliminary draft charging schedule' (PDCS) for West Oxfordshire.

The PDCS sets out the rates that could potentially be charged for different types of development in the District, to ensure that there is sufficient infrastructure to support housing and economic growth in the area.

This consultation has now closed.
