Do you have any comments on the vision and strategy for the future?

My concern on the draft stategy is the lack of emphasis and clarity on the future for the villages in WODC.Leafield, the village where I live has declined over the thirty years I have lived here. The population has fallen over that period in spite of additional houses being built. In that period we have lost three pubs, a post office, two grocers and a butchers shop We now have a volunteer shop containing a part time post office and a Chinese restaurant in one of the pubs.Public transport is spasmodic, the school has survived by combining wih Ascott under Wychwood school, the church and village hall struggle, the football and cricket team have gone.Planning policy based on the principle of infill and the existing building line has confined development to be strung out along the roads so that virtually every house is affected by traffic. The current population in Leafield have outlooks and requirements which are much more demanding than previously.
