People want to live and work in Oxfordshire in part because of the environment.  Developments must retain good environment features when green field sites are used, and that means things like planting three mature trees for every one cut down. Screening of new build to blend in must be substantial, it usually is not. New housing density is too high for sustainable communities; live here, work and play somewhere else because home is an "egg box". Tourism is an important economic activity. Existi

Villages - I am concerned at the level of development you are looking at, and the impact it will have on village communities. Witney use to have a nice community feel, when you walked into a shop or pub you knew most people and people were polite and gave you the impression that they cared about where they lived, but this seems to have disappeared, and the level of crime increase, especially when trouble makers from Blackbird Leys and Barton estate were relocated to Witney.
