Concerned Filkinite In my opinion Witney has the scope, infrastructure and facilities to accept the bulk of planned large scale housing development and should have allocated to it most of the projected housing, including that allocated to Carterton. 11 Mar 2011 21:11
Jools I fully support the Cogges link road. This has been needed desperately for some time. The objections by a minority that have delayed this road are a disservice to the majority who would benefit fmor the link. Without this no further growth in Witney should be contemplated. I have concerns about the increase overall in traffic on the A40 which is too congested. More innovative thinking is required to enable people to use public transport. For example the use of park and ride schemes from Witney. 11 Mar 2011 20:41

Hailey Parish Council We support the decision not to include the North Witney site in the DCS. We do not support the building of the West End link as we believe this that this could well increase congestion, or simply re-direct the congestion on West End to a new river crossing. 11 Mar 2011 11:58
Richard Gardiner Not all those in the new western housing will find employment in the adjacent development. If they work in Witney town centre something will have to be done about more parking facilities not less. 11 Mar 2011 10:46
Rutilus Witney is a fine shopping centre which is drawing in shoppers from a wide area. Consider it is time to consolidate existing services before further large expansion. Too rapid growth could undo the excellent work that has taken place in bringing this townup to a ver high standar . 11 Mar 2011 09:28
