We support the general aim of this draft Policy and restate the opportunity which is being made available through the proposed development of their land, in particular at Woodstock East for a new and long-term home for Old Woodstock Town FC, where provision can be made (in addition to the current retention of training facilities at New Road) so that its first and under 18s teams can play their home games in higher leagues in Woodstock (rather than be forced by league regulations to play outside

Would like more encouragement to bring back lost services such as village shops with planning incentives.

Core Policy 15 Local Services and Community Facilities Here again, the examples given in para.6.42 are inadequate in providing guidance for future planners, and to reflect Objective CO11, we suggest a more inclusive description for the term 'community facilities' so that guidelines are clear and consistent - community facilities provide for the health and wellbeing, social, educational, spiritual, recreational, leisure and cultural needs of the community.

We welcome the resistance to the loss of community facilities and services (6.43, Core Policy 15). In particular, we welcome the requirement for a "robust marketing campaign" before business premises will be permitted change of use to residential (6.16).
